Open every weekday morning from 9am until after lunch for a varied program of activities ranging from computer training to belly dancing, from digital camera tuition to arts and crafts. You can find us at 1-3 Bitton Park Road, click here to see a map on how to find us If you are over 50 you are very welcome to join us, there are no joining fees or subscriptions, just a small payment when you join in some of the activities. Alice Cross was awarded the British Empire Medal for her services to the elderly of Teignmouth, she started by inviting a few elderly people to regular meetings in her front room, this grew into the very active Centre it is today. Just pop in at your leisure any weekday morning, have a chat over a cup of coffee, stay to watch others enjoying themselves, join in if you wish, stay for a home cooked lunch prepared by Traci, every day you have a choice from around 30 dishes, consisting of old favourites and many exotic original recipes. This website is in it's infancy, as time progresses we will be publishing a monthly diary of all our activities and services together with details of all dishes on our menus. Our busy itinery requires volunteers to help in many diverse ways, leadership of existing or new activities, potato peeling, editorial help with the newsletter, even computer skills to update this website. |
